Bordeaux: Haut Medoc

The city of Bordeaux is beautiful, but the glory of it's wine country is something that only photos are worthy of.  Bordeaux has 5 major wine regions and early on in our stay we took a road trip through the northern most region called the Medoc.  This region is home to some of the best wines in the world-- Chateaux Margaux, Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Cos d'Estournel, and many more.  We traveled through the towns of Pauliac, St. Julien, and Margaux, all while enjoying exceptionally lovely clouds and a perfect warm end of summer day.  Here is just a bit of what we got to see on our journey.
